The Four day August Festival is the highlight of the racing calendar at Tramore
Tramore racing festival has been taking place annually every August since 1807! So why not head to Waterford and get the whole family involved in this fantastic event.
Enjoy a weekends worth of fun and memorable moments in Tramore, and head back for a good nights sleep here at Treacys Hotel Waterford.
Thursday August 17th – First Race 5.20pm
Seven National Hunt races kick off the first evening of the festival

Get the gang together and ‘Jump start’ the weekend with Seven National Hunt races.

Saturday August 19th – First Race 4.50pm
The highlight of the Four days is Style Evening, sponsored by House of Waterford Crystal and Redlane.ie
Lisa McGowan aka Lisa’s Lust List has the difficult job of choosing one overall winner and nine finalists. With over €2,500 of prizes on offer, the competition in the enclosures is sure to compete with the competition out on the track.
50 fashionistas chosen by Lisa will also enjoy a complimentary exclusive Thin Gin festival cocktail, which will also be available in all the bars throughout the evening.
Indigo Mood will entertain the race-goers in the enclosures before racing and WLR Fm’s Teresanne O’Reilly will broadcast live from the racecourse throughout the afternoon whilst Brand New Cadillac will play in the Festival Marquee after the last race.
No need to register for Style Evening in advance – Gates open 2.30pm
Sunday August 20th – First Race 1.50pm
Family Fun Afternoon is a great way to get the whole family to enjoy a race meeting with entertainment for kids of all ages.
First Class Castles provide a huge selection of bouncy castles and outdoor games. There will be face painting, colouring & craft competitions and WLR Fm will broadcast live from the Blastercaster all afternoon.
